WHY SHIFT+ EXISTS

I built this because I’m living the problem.

I’m Ruben Olaverria. I’m a shift worker. My hours change when the job demands it — I’ve worked 8s, 10s, 12s, and during one stretch I was pulling 16-hour days.

If you’ve been there, you know the feeling. You get home drained, sleepy, and completely done. The last thing you’re doing is following a workout plan that expected you at the gym on a Tuesday.

That was the pattern for years. I’d blame the job. The shift. The rotation. The unexpected days that got dropped on me with no warning. And every program I tried made the same assumption: that I had the same week, every week, like everyone else.

    I don’t. Neither do you.

So I started building my training around my shift instead of the other way around. Different sessions for different days. A real workout when I had the window. Something smaller when I didn’t. Recovery when the week had already taken everything. It worked — not because I found more discipline, but because the plan finally matched the life.

That’s what SHIFT+ is. You tell it your schedule, your time, your equipment, and your goal. It builds around that. When your shift changes, so does the plan — same day, no restarting, no falling behind.

    Where I’m coming from

    COMPETITION EXPERIENCE

I’ve been lifting for 15 years. I’m a NASM-certified personal trainer and a bodybuilder with a great passion for health & fitness. I’ve competed in bodybuilding in both men’s physique and classic physique.

Yes, I've competed — but SHIFT+ isn't a bodybuilding program. It's built for people getting their training in around a job, not chasing a stage.

I say that not to sell you on credentials, but so you know the programming behind this comes from someone who has actually done the work. And right now I’m working 60 hours a week, six days, 5:00 to 3:30 — so I’m using this alongside you, not from the outside.

    Who this is for

If your schedule gets decided for you. If you work more than 50 hours a week. If you’ve quit more programs than you’ve finished and concluded you’re the problem — you’re not. The plans were built for a life you don’t have.
